Patient Story

I am thin. I have always been an active woman who exercises.

Nevertheless, during the past few years my belly started to grow up and my menstrual bleeding increased to such a point that there were times I felt unsure of getting out of my house.

At the beginning I thought they were the normal effects of growing older (I am 44 years old), but when I started to feel very weak then I decided to consult my physician.

He diagnosed me anemia caused by three fibroids, one of them with 7 cm. of diameter. Ever since I was treated, I recovered my figure, my menstrual periods returned to normality and I was able to go on with my daily activities.

Thank you very much to Médica Sur!

They can affect women under childbearing age, and although it is not frequently, they may also appear in very young women.
